Hello i just ordered a schott b3 sheepskin bomber jacket from a norwegian site zalando. I hope its real. How do i take best care of it? Occasional clean with saddle soap and then very light coat of mink oil or natural wax i have a blend of beeswax and mink oil. Will that be good for the jacket? I will wear it about 5-6 months a year in cold norwegian conditions. I cant find a professional leather cleaner or similar like shoe maker or leather anything here at all so i need to do it myself and want the best for my jacket.

thank goodness the channel posted after 2 years. I have a old schott 674 that has a big ol hole going straight through the collar and fur, and I’m not sure what I can do on replacing the fur. It has a non-removable collar btw

Just for the info.. Don't buy into that bullshit gimic that 'American made schott jackets are top while the ones that are produced in Europe are garbage'.. Bought recently the lc1259 in black.. My bud had the American supposedly 'original' version of it that costs 1k more.. It is literally almost the same exact jacket just much more baggy which isn't necessarily a good thing 😅

Being Afro American USA has its pros and cons, positives and negatives but anybody will admit there was a time when the USA had a stronghold on the best products being put on the market. From automobiles, clothing (Schott coats for example) etc. I had a brought a pair of Ray-Ban Wayfarer 54mm a few years ago. That pair was made in Italy by Luxottica. I had no idea that Bausch&Lomb created the original Ray-Bans so I hunted down a pair of Bausch&Lomb Ray-Ban Wayfarers 54mm and got them and I was blown away by how much better looking the frames were and way better quality. I mean you recognize the difference as soon as you put it on. Now I own two Vintage Schott leather Bombers all black from the 80s and I love those two coats.

I recognized the Hamilton name. I live in Lancaster. The Hamilton building has been converted to apartments now. My father worked for Hamilton when they were in the area. I love the collaboration between the two iconic American companies for the watch. I fell in love with the Schott brand a few years ago and I understand just how monumental this product was. Considering the video is over 2yrs old, this watch is probably not available but I'll check.
